Simin Ekrami, despite most of the sculptors, has started with geometric abstracts and then her works turned to figurative and then again back to abstract concepts.
Over ten years, Mylyn Nguyen has developed several solo exhibitions for the Gallery that have whimsically explored childhood curiosities. Her current exhibition 'Sometimes I'm too boring for my imaginary friends' continues to explore these themes. Exhibition runs 8 to 26 May

Entries are now open for the 49th Annual Bacchus Marsh Rotary Art Show and Sale. This exhibition is held every Queen's Birthday weekend and attracts more than 600 entries from all around Victoria and interstate. Each year the show is judged by a different curator from the National Gallery of Victoria and has received enthusiastic commendation. The 2019 show is offering total prize money of $7,700.

Known for his black and white photography practice, Ben Ali Ong has established a reputation for creating bodies of work which juxtapose brooding dream-like imagery alongside minimalist abstract pieces defined by their poetic restraint.
