Deilaman Gallery, for one month starting from 25th of January, was hosting the sculptures of Simin Ekrami, a sculptor with extraordinary willing to use organic forms and materials. Simin Ekrami, despite most of the sculptors, has started with geometric abstracts and then her works turned to figurative and then again back to abstract concepts.
Ladies are first in the area of creation due to the fact that they take it into themselves and complete the product and leave it to the future, therefore I believe ladies has such being unwilling for artistic fame throughout the history, that this unwillingness has become the reason for ignoring their rights. In societies with lag in history of modern life that are entering into a modern state with delay, the intermediate medium between the two creativities has been filled by ladies that can only be descripted with the word "patience".

Simin Ekrami is left between these two media. Patience and continuous creativity defines her being. She reflects her life by repelling the external and superficial figure of an artist. Her mental system is a combination of formalism, feminine figurative and poetic abstraction.

Woman is the main subject in her latest sculptures that are shown in Deilaman gallery; femininity without feminism view! She warms the bronze gloss with flowing lines and tempting body of woman.

One of the other charming points in her artworks is the paradox of material and subject and also the beauty of woman and its fragility. In her artworks, woman and iron join to create meaning.

Ekrami in each of her artworks, uses a specific existential force, she has a specific life in her sculptures, a life specific to herself and independent of the object that might be shown.
