How appropriate for Alice McLaughlin to seek the sanctuary of the iconic art gallery - The Old Fire Station Gallery to showcase her colourful paintings and her sculptures. Alice hails from Childers, and as she discussed her exhibition recently, she said she could smell smoke from not far away.

MGA will thrown open the doors to reveal the 60 shortlisted artworks for the 2020 William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize. In keeping with strict COVID-19 safety protocols visitors can view the exhibition in person from Saturday 21 November 2020 or from the comfort of their own home via a virtual tour wherever they are located. Once visitors have explored the three gallery spaces they can head to the online voting portal to cast a vote in the Smith & Singer People's Choice Award.
