Opening on International Women's Day 8 March, Rees presents a collection of abstracted portraits depicting women with somber and beguiling expressions.
You are invited to the opening reception on Friday 2 March at 6-8 pm. Exhibition will be held from Feb 28 - March 11.

The Seymour Centre and White Box Theatre will present Richard Beynon's award-winning Australian classic 'The Shifting Heart' from 8th March to 24th March.
The evening commences with welcome nibbles and softdrinks followed by the screening of the telemovie, RIOT. This movie shines a spotlight on Australia's 1970s Gay Rights Movement and the passionate individuals who were unwavering in their fight for decriminalisation, recognition and equality. It deals with the first Mardi Gras on 24 June 1978 which resulted in the arrest of 53 people in Kings Cross. Interlude Gallery is pleased to invite you to the closing feast of 'Absolute Kippleization' by Rachel Honnery. The solo exhibition explores notions of the human and the machine and provides a bleak warning against the pressures of kipple on our natural world. Inspired by P.K. Dick's 1968 post-apocalyptic novel, this exhibition brings together science and art. Honnery uses the tangability of discarded hard plastics to remind us of the effects that these now useless objects are having on our marine environments. As P.K. Dick warned us when nobody is around, kipple reproduces itself ("¦) It gets more and more.'
