Marking 20 years, this year's festival will run over the Easter long weekend: 30 March to 2 April. Visitors can expect to see the streets of Fremantle at their brightest and loudest, with buskers, street theatre, cabaret, comedians, local pop-up bars and delicious eateries "“ all scattered throughout the port town. Boasting an eclectic mix of high-calibre international artists, performance highlights include Nudes, BirdMen and WAHonk! Adding to the electric atmosphere this year will be a new Little Creatures Buskers Bar, which will pop-up to provide the perfect space for visitors to sit back and have a drink whilst enjoying the roving acts passing by. @fremantlestreetartsfestival @streetartsfestival #streetartsfestival
The Fremantle International Street Arts Festival (FISAF), will be returning to the streets of Fremantle this Easter long weekend to mark its 20th year. This unique Festival amplifies the Fremantle experience to a whole new level, with an eclectic mix of high-calibre artists performing throughout the city's streets, restaurants, bars and parks from Good Friday (30 March) to Easter Sunday (2 April).

FISAF brings together buskers, street theatre, bands, local pop-up bars and delicious eateries each year "“ and this year is no different. The world-class entertainers who will joining this year's festivities include:

"¢ BirdMen: A Dutch theatre group and their gigantic roving birds will invade the streets of Fremantle. These colourful beings are impressive by day, and spectacular by night.
"¢ Nudes: A bunch of Brits will do nudie runs' all the way to Australia. Naked as nature (never quite) intended, these performers leave passers-by in awe as they hit the streets.
"¢ Forest Ants in the City: The ants go marching two by two'"¦. after they left their colony in Germany to explore the unknown city of Fremantle.
"¢ What's Next?: Four male acrobats from Canada, in their physical peak, accomplish amazing and death-defying stunts. A one-of-a-kind performance!
"¢ SUHDE: This amazing duo juggle not only strange objects, but their relationship too. Partners from Finland, SUHDE captivate the crowds with heart-stopping acrobatics.
"¢ WAHonk!: A Honk bands perform to celebrate; to protest; to proclaim; some play for peace, some for activist causes; for community spirit; and all of them play to have fun!!!! WAHonk! will see bands celebrate, protest and proclaim their way through the streets of Fremantle.

For those seeking a break from the bombastic street carnival, this year's festival will welcome a new fully-licenced outdoor pop-up bar: The Little Creatures Buskers Bar. The new bar is the ideal place to sit back and watch the weird and wonderful acts go by "“ all while drinking a cold Fremantle brew.

The evening sea breeze will breathe new life into the streets of Fremantle, as they light up to kick start the festival's night street parties. Featuring a series of local musicians and quirky entertainment, the night program will see Fremantle shining at its brightest.

City of Fremantle's Festival Director, Kathryn Taylor said; "FISAF is a well-loved street arts Festival that attracts great audiences and high calibre artists from across the globe. We are so proud to host such a unique festival right here in the beautiful port city of Fremantle."

Featuring the beautiful backdrop of Fremantle architecture, the fishing boat harbour, Norfolk pines and the cappuccino strip, FISAF will see the complete town glistening at its best. Perthites need to look no further than Fremantle for this year's Easter long weekend.
