Entries Open until August 30! In its seventeenth year, the ANL Maritime Art Prize calls artists to respond to the theme of 'The Relationship of Humanity to the Sea'. Maritime art is a genre significant to all Australians, as our home is girt by sea, and shipping is THE vital connector for our economy. The ANL Maritime Art prize has a finalist selection of 80 artworks competing for 4 major awards including the acquisitive ANL Maritime Art Prize, Best in Traditional, Emerging Artist, and the People's Choice. The total prize pool is over $27,000. Artworks in the medium of painting, mixed media, collage or drawing are accepted into the exhibition.
