Yarra Valley Arts Open Studios 2026

Yarra Valley Arts (YVA) is opening the doors to 28 local artists' studios this October, inviting visitors on a rare, self-guided journey through some of the region's most creative spaces.

Now in its eighteenth year, Yarra Valley Open Studios has grown into a region-wide event with artists opening their studios across two weekends in October, giving visitors the freedom to explore a full spread of studios across the Yarra Valley.

Studio locations include Badger Creek, Chum Creek, Dixons Creek, Don Valley, Healesville, Launching Place, Millgrove, Mount Evelyn, Silvan, Warburton, Yarra Glen and Yarra Junction.

Free and self-guided, Open Studios gives visitors of all ages the chance to step inside working studios, watch artists at work, ask questions, and buy original pieces directly from the people who made them, across painting, ceramics, photography, printmaking, fibre art and more.

Beth Williams, President of Yarra Valley Arts, says: “Open Studios lets people experience the everyday life of an artist: their space, their materials and their process. It's a genuine way into an artist's world, and visitors can follow the trail wherever it takes them. We're proud to see the program grow in 2026, with more artists opening their doors across the region.”

Running alongside the open studio weekends is a month-long group exhibition at The Memo Healesville, from Wednesday 30 September to Sunday 1 November, showcasing work from participating artists under one roof.

Open Studios Weekend 1: Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, 10am - 5pm
