Apply now to be a part of of Bayside’s 2018 Artists Studio Program. This program will offer seven, free studio spaces on the grounds of the historic Billilla Mansion in Brighton for 12 months from July 2018 to June 2019. Aimed at supporting emerging and established artists, the program invites artists including those in visual artists, sculptors, writers, composers, film makers and other multimedia artists to apply on line. Applications close on Monday 26 February 2018. This autumn current artists will be participating in a variety of public programs at The Gallery, Bayside Arts and Cultural Centre in Brighton.

The Artists Studio Program as been operating in the servants quarters of Billilla historic mansion since 2009. The studios have 7 day a week access from 8am to 10pm, power and lighting are provided and in some studios there is running water.

The mansion is close to rail and bus networks (Middle Brighton Station in Church Street is 7 minutes walk) and the gardens are in public open space, with some of the trees within heritage listed. The mansion is also a short walk to the Bayside Gallery and Brighton Library.
