John Bennett will begin the evening with a short introduction to World War I poetry and a few classic poems. The audience will then be invited to come up and share a favourite poem from World War I. This could be from their favourite WW1 poet or their own writing about the war which was meant to end all wars.

Coffs Harbour Regional Museum is also proud to be displaying the honour boards from World War I which honour our local soldiers who fought in the Great War. Any family members who would like to share their memories, letters or photographs are warmly invited to participate in this event.

There will be refreshments and finger food available from 5.30pm for a 6pm start. Please register your interest by applying through Eventbrite or calling the library on 6648-4900. Harry Bailey Memorial Library, 27 Duke Street, Coffs Harbour.
