Workshop: Happiness for worrywarts and other strung out people
Recovering worrywart Toni Powell will entertain and enlighten Brisbane audiences when she delivers her ‘pearls of wisdom’ during a special one day workshop at Brisbane Powerhouse on Saturday 19 July.
As a mother of five and grandmother of nine, Toni knows strung out. More importantly, she has spent many years learning how to inject happiness into her busy life and she wants to share her secrets.
The sometime filmmaker, storyteller, and terribly cheeky gratitude maven has put together an engaging workshop which teaches participants how to get more laughter, hope, wonder and enjoyment from life.
Happiness for Worrywarts and Other Strung out People will give participants simple, life changing and practical tools to help them live with more enjoyment, contentment and ease.
Ms Powell said, "The overwhelming feedback from people who attend my workshops is that they have a ball - a ball that changes their lives. My gift, if I can call it that, seems to be that I can make life-changing wisdom simple, memorable and fun."
The highly practical workshop will feature a combination of music, beautiful images, a short film, a little non-invasive interaction, stories, the latest scientific research, everyday language and a few surprises along the way!
Happiness for Worrywarts and Other Strung out People will be held on the beautiful Rooftop Terrace of the Powerhouse, and will be fully catered. So gather your friends, or come alone, ready to be inspired to consider a new approach to your old situation.
