'We May Have To Choose' is Coming to Perth
Winner of three Melbourne Fringe Awards, and an Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award for Best Theatre, 'We May Have To Choose' is making its WA debut.
We May Have To Choose by Emma Hall
Following sell out shows in Adelaide, Edinburgh and Melbourne, 'We May Have To Choose' by Emma Hall is coming to Perth Fringe World.
Billed as 'a monologue of sorts' this solo show is a list of declarations about the universe, (621 to be exact) presenting both the banal to the extraordinary opinions of acclaimed theatre maker, Emma Hall.
Inspired by Tim Etchells' 'Sight is the Sense,' Emma Hall presents a poignant study of the personal soapbox and a fantastical ride through the subconscious mind.
This stunning solo is a 'funny, withering, and moving' piece about the fallibility of thought in our quest to solve the riddles of our world.
'We May Have To Choose' brings together some of Melbourne’s most exciting independent artists including performer/writer Emma Hall (Reach Out Touch Faith by Sarah Rodigari, Green Room Award Winner: Best Contemporary Experimental Performance), director Prue Clark (Dropped, Melbourne Fringe Festival 2014, Green Room Award nominee) and acclaimed lighting designer Amelia Lever-Davidson (multiple Green Room Award nominee for Dropped and Foxfinder). The work is accompanied by a hypnotic original musical score, reminiscent of Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson, from Brisbane-based musician SS.Sebastian.
