Warrandyte Festival Art Prize 2013. Artists are invited to work within the Warrandyte Festival recinct on festival weekend to produce a work of art that “captures the spirit of the Festival and the natural beauty of Warrandyte”.

2013 Warrandyte Festival Art Prize Artists are invited to work within the Warrandyte Festival precinct on festival weekend to produce a work of art that “captures the spirit of the Festival and the natural beauty of Warrandyte”. •First prize, provided by Art Spectrum: Art materials to the value of $500 for a work completed during the Festival •Peoples’ Choice Award, provided by Chapman & Bailey: Art materials to the value of $300 for a work completed during the Festival Event details The Warrandyte Festival is held from 22 – 24 March 2013 at Stiggants Reserve, Yarra Street, Warrandyte.

A street parade is also held in Yarra Street on the morning of 23 March 2013. Please refer to the program for full festival programming. Warrandyte Festival Art Prize participants can set up and work anywhere within the Festival precinct on Saturday 23 March from 10.00am – 4.00pm and/or Sunday 24 March from 10.00am – 4.00pm. Participants painting/creating location must be within the boundaries of the Warrandyte Festival precinct.

•Download the Warrandyte Festival Art Prize flyer (PDF, 1.5MB) Submissions Delivery of artists submissions must be made by Sunday 24 March between 4.00pm and 5.00pm to the Top Tent, Upper Reserve, Stiggants Reserve. Artists may enter more than one work of art. Judging Judging and announcement of winning artist will take place on Sunday 24 March 2013 at 7.00pm. Our judge is Margot Tasca, Director of the Light Factory Gallery in Eltham. Artists work will be on display in the Top Tent for the public to appreciate.
