VIVA Youth Festival

Youth culture and street culture collide at VIVA Youth Festival with skateboarding, basketball, street art, dance, DJs, food stalls and even a mechanical bull.

The renowned VIVA Prahran skate comp is back with a heap of prizes up for grabs. The King of the Court basketball comp also returns with over 20 teams competing for cash prizes in the biggest and most prestigious 3-on-3 Basketball event Melbourne has to offer. For the first time, FreeZa will be programming a dedicated stage just for dance performances and workshops, covering everything from Contemporary through to Hip Hop and Break.

You can also be part of a live art experience where leading street artists will facilitate a day-long street art project.

Other activities will be back by popular demand including the rock climbing wall, blender bikes, face painting for the little ones and hula hoop workshops with Donna Sparkles.

VIVA is presented by the City of Stonnington and FreeZa and is a drug, alcohol and smoke-free event
