After years of contemplation, Theodoros & Maher are proud to be bringing this show to the stage during the Adelaide Fringe. Amanda Palmer, an ambassador of the 2020 Adelaide Fringe, is a musician, art-maker and writer who tours the world and connects people through her unique ability to share stories. In her Ted Talk & book “The Art of Asking” she talks about the importance of the connection between artist and audience, and thus building a solid community.
During the show Theodoros will weave a narrative about isolation, connection, relationships and reframing our perceptions between music from the Dresden Dolls Era right through to her current album. She and her Coin-Operated Band will celebrate how Amanda has united people globally who have felt voiceless and will have the audience singing along in an act of momentary connection.
The Coin Operated Band consists of:
Patrick Maher – Guitar
Phi Theodoros – Ukulele & Vocals
Jesse Budel – Piano
Brodie Hewetson - Drums
Where: The Bally at Gluttony, Mullawirraburka/Rymill Park
