Town Hall Gallery calls for applications from local artists to exhibit on the Community Project Wall

Artists who live, work or study in Boroondara are invited to apply for the Community Project Wall 2019 Exhibition Program. Applications are open now until 29 June 2018.
Artists who live, work or study in Boroondara are invited to apply for the Town Hall Gallery Community Project Wall 2019 Exhibition Program.

The Community Project Wall is a gallery space at the Town Hall Gallery devoted to talented local artists. The exhibition space is offered free of charge and includes professional curation, presentation, promotion and the opportunity for artwork to be sold on behalf of the artist. Successful applicants benefit from curatorial advice, mentoring, career development and the opportunity to exhibit work to a broad audience.

Applications are encouraged from:

"¢ local unrepresented artists
"¢ school groups in Boroondara
"¢ students from local organisations
"¢ small arts organisations based in Boroondara
"¢ historical groups in Boroondara
"¢ libraries in Boroondara.


Applications are open now until 29 June 2018.

The Community Project Wall was established in 2013 as part of the Town Hall Gallery's ongoing commitment to local artists and community groups. Exhibiting artists benefit from advice and mentoring from our curatorial team to help with their artistic and career development. The Community Project Wall has exhibited over 1000 artworks produced by more than 350 Boroondara artists. Each exhibition enjoys an average of 800 visitors.
