An enchanting production bursting with interactive experiences, acrobatics, and charm, 'Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies' will enthral and delight our littlest theatre goers these school holidays. Perfect for ages 3 to 8, guests are also encouraged to come dressed as a fairy or an elf, and join in the action.
The Australian Shakespeare Company began life as Shakespeare Under The Stars in 1987 under the directorship of Glenn Elston, who is widely credited with pioneering popular outdoor theatre in Australia. Celebrating 30 years in 2017, 'Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies' is a prime example of the evolution of the company and its dedication to creating unique theatrical experiences for some of our youngest arts lovers.
Colourful and engaging, these types of performances are not only enjoyable for children, but also contain important stimulation for brain development and socialisation - as children also interact with each other during the shows while they play, sing, and dance. It's a true testament to the work that ASC has created and the impact that has on our local audiences, as well as internationally.
Taking our youngest audiences on a special adventure to Bubble Land, 'Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies' encourages children to work together to help the Fairies find their wings. Don’t miss the opportunity to join these enchanting creatures as they go on an exciting adventure this Summer at Melbourne’s air-conditioned Athenaeum, and the Geelong Botanical Gardens.
