Tincture Releases Debut EP 'Tryst' With Silo Arts & Records
Dalton has made himself known around the internet, sporadically releasing bootlegs, remixes and the occasional original. For his first official offering, he’s locked himself away and developed his sound, incorporating elements of UK Garage, Shoegaze and Synth pop. The EP offers a glimpse inside a surreal world born of Dalton’s love of R&B, video games and 80’s anime soundtracks.
“I have a bad habit of idealising relationships, and the lyrics on the EP kind of reflect that. The lyrics in ‘Tryst’ are probably the best example - I wanted them to sound stereotypical and artificial because that’s the kind of love I was caught up in at the time.”
Tincture has previously supported Purity Ring, Daedelus and Space Dimension Controller and kicks off what is set to be an explosive 2014 with a support slot on Baths’ Australian tour which kicks off nationally from March 16.
Tryst is now availabel via Silo Arts & Records.
