As part of the 2013 Selected Works Program, Theatre Works and Stuck Pigs Squealing present the world premiere of night maybe, a hilarious and disturbing free-fall through the subconscious.

Tom abandons his sister Sasha by the side of the road. She plunges headlong into the night in search of him. Her hunt takes her to a park, an alleyway, a riverbank - even to the far reaches of Siberia. In the darkness she begins to peel back the layers of their shifting relationship; past the unreliability of gender, sexuality and soon discovers more than what she bargained for.

Stuck Pigs Squealing is a Melbourne based company that has developed a national and international reputation for dynamic and cutting edge theatre. Founded in 2001 by Chris Kohn, Stuck Pigs Squealing artists and regular collaborators include Lally Katz, Luke Mullins, Jethro Woodward and Richard Vabre, Brian Lipson, Mel Page, Katherine Tonkin and Chris Brown. Their previous works include The Eisteddfod, The Black Swan of Trespass, The Apocalypse Ber Trilogy and they hare presented work in Melbourne, Perth, New York and Paris.

Kit Brookman is an award winning writer, director and actor. His original works include Heaven - performed in Sydney and Melbourne at La Mama, Close - which was short-listed for the Patrick White Playwright's Award and the Griffin Award, and Small and Tried which will premiere at Belvoir in September. He was also the winner of the 2012 Phillip Parsons Young Playwright's Award. He is currently under commission from Belvoir and Griffin Theatre Companies.

Luke Mullins, a core member of Stuck Pigs Squealing, has previously co-directed Stuck Pigs' Apocalypse Bear Trilogy (Melbourne Festival/MTC) and been a creator and performer on other company works including The Eisteddfod, Lally Katz and the Terrible Mysteries of the Volcano, 4xBeckett, Agoraphobe, Untitled Intentional Exercise #1 and Nine Days Falling. night maybe introduces a new writer to the Stuck Pigs team and marks a long anticipated return to the Melbourne stage for this much loved company.

night maybe features Tom Conroy, Sarah Ogden, Brian Lipson and Marcus McKenzie.
