Now in its fifth year, the festival will feature some of Australia’s best-loved country and rock musicians. This year’s festival will see more than 7000 fans, families and travellers from all around Australia pitch their tents, campers, caravans and swags under the remote outback stars for three unforgettable days. Nestled on the edge of the Simpson Desert, 35km from Birdsville, festival-goers get more than just music - they get the true Aussie outback experience.

The 2017 line up features Missy Higgins, Lee Kernaghan, James Reyne and Mark Seymour, as well as performances by Ian Moss, Ray Ryder, Kate Ceberano, Russell Morris, James Blundell, Christie Lamb, The McClymonts, The Wolfe Brothers, Tania Kernaghan and Troy Cassar-Daley. Comedy duo, The Crack Up Sisters will host the event.

The experience is all about the journey and the adventure from getting to the bash in the desert, through to the road trip home. Some travellers dedicate weeks on the road to the event, soaking up Australia’s quintessential outback locations and camping under vast starry night skies.
