Sculpture and art enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice at the International Sculpture Symposium to be held in New Zealand from 10th – 16th February 2013. Art Consultant Anne McGravie-Wright, from Avec Pleasure Art Tours, is leading a personalised tour that will inform and unlock the secrets of an impressive selection of World class sculptures installed in several private gardens in the breathtaking areas surrounding Auckland, New Zealand. Joining forces with the International Sculpture Centre (ISC), Avec Pleasure Art Tours will inspire the novice and further inform the avid art collector in the area of Contemporary Sculpture practice. The tour will take in some of New Zealand’s exclusive outdoor sculpture installations including Gibbs Farm, Zealandia Sculpture Garden and Waiheke Island. Avec Pleasure tour participants will have the flexibility to design their own personalised itinerary and choose what level of involvement they wish to have with the Symposium program.
“We are thrilled to provide a tour to this Sculpture Symposium which will allow art and sculpture lovers the chance to not only witness some amazing works but also hear the secrets behind the sculptures from internationally acclaimed sculptors as well as symposium panels. It is the first time this Symposium has been so close to Australia and it is an exclusive opportunity not to be missed!” Ms McGravie-Wright explains. “The beauty of the Symposium is that it can be enjoyed by both art connoisseurs and just lovers of art.” Ms McGravie-Wright continues. “You don’t need to be an expert to enjoy this symposium. This tour is perfect for anyone who is interested in or appreciates the beauty of sculptures.”
