CENTRAL GOLDFIELDS ART GALLERY The Tree Show by Cascade Print Workshop 26 April - 1 June 2014 Address: 2 Neill Street, Maryborough Phone: (03) 5460 4588 Visit: The Tree Show is a diverse collection of works which starts with each artist’s personal interpretation of the tree. The exhibition features some of Australia’s leading contemporary and established print based artists. There are additional feature paintings, prints and sculptures by several of the artists as part of the exhibition. The Cascade Print Workshop has been operation for over ten years, and since it’s inception has expanded to include The CPW Gallery in Porcupine Flat (2009) and The Cascade Print Room (2011) in Main St Maldon.

In 2013, Jeff Gardner and Kareen Anchen of CPW invited over 30 artists to be part of The Tree Show, which was included in the Castlemaine State Festival. The art gallery is situated in the picturesque historic fire station built in 1861, a short walk from the CBD. The gallery’s changing exhibition program showcases local and regional artists, and includes diverse touring exhibitions.
