Applications are open for Teen Art Awards 2026. The theme of the season is Belonging. Young artists aged 13-17 are invited to participate.

Where do we feel at home? What shapes our sense of identity? How do culture, memory, family, languages, and community influence the way we see ourselves and the world around us? These questions are at the heart of the new season of Teen Art Awards, an international competition for young artists aged 13 to 17.
The theme of the current season is ‘Belonging’. Participants are invited to reflect on roots, home, community, and the feeling of connection to a place, people, or group. Works are accepted in the following categories: painting, graphics, digital art, and other forms of visual expression related to the theme.
"This theme feels especially meaningful today, as young people around the world are constantly reflecting on identity, culture, memory, community, and their place in the world. Through Teen Art Awards, we want to give teenagers a platform where their voices can be seen, heard, and valued internationally." - said Daria Kalinina, Founder and President of Art.Coordinate Foundation and Teen Art Awards.
The competition gives teenagers access to artistic education, cultural exchange, and international visibility, and for many it becomes a first step into the professional world.
Applications are open from 1 August to 1 November 2026, with participation free of charge. The Grand Finale of the season will take place on 3 December 2026 at Katara Drama Theatre. The new season was officially presented at a press conference at Katara Cultural Village, marking the beginning of the next chapter of the initiative for young artists.
Over previous seasons, Teen Art Awards has brought together participants from more than 60 countries and has grown into an international platform connecting young artists, schools, cultural institutions, educators, and creative professionals.
