This webinar session will walk you through copyright, licensing, contracts - the issues that designers need to know. Let the experts help you understand the legal issues that come up when running a successful design practice and equip you with the skills to negotiate better deals, advocate for yourself and implement best practice.

Whether you are an emerging designer or have an established practice, this professional development session will give you the knowledge you need for a sustainable design business. Attendees will be able to ask questions during the session.

This webinar will be hosted by Roxanne Lorenz, a solicitor at Arts Law where she advises artists and organisations on a range of legal areas; most commonly intellectual property (copyright, moral rights and trademarks), contracts, confidentiality, consumer, defamation and insurance laws. Roxanne understands the commercial realities for creators and creative organisations protecting their intellectual property.

This is a one-hour session followed by a 30-minute audience Q & A.
