THE KITE MACHINE RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'CHARLOTTE' & HEAD OFF ON TOUR

Published by: Emma Wiking | 4-May-2016
Loud, funky and completely ballistic, The Kite Machine are Geelong's premier Funk Rock export and they are off on tour with new single - Charlotte.A tendency to write from a fictional standpoint, The Kite Machine penned 'Charlotte' about a temptress and her efforts to lead her target astray. The track has a solid groove and melodic drive complimented by the catchy chorus cries, - Charlotte. #TheKiteMachine @TheKiteMachine
Forming in 2011 as the brainchild of front man Levi Anderson along with drummer Kane Sherriff and bassist Liam Brennan, the trio has carved out a niche in the music scene with an electric live show delivered with an infectious energy, tight grooves and manic riffs.

Latest offering 'Charlotte' follows on from 2015 EP Lunatics and The Kite Machine's debut EP The Crook and the Skank (2012) which set the bar for their distinctive funk driven styling. Reflected in its sold out limited press, The Crook and the Skank EP was met with widespread acclaim.

" ...Utterly addictive ... the whole thing is hardly tame. I was super impressed with these Victorian gentlemen so give them a whirl ... " - The Ripe
