South London duo, consisting of a singer Mr Bruce and producer Chucks aka The Correspondents, are currently on a whirlwind tour of Australia and New Zealand and will be stopping by Shadow Electric on Wednesday February 10 for an intimate last minute show. @TheCorrespond @ShadowElectric #TheCorrespondents
No strangers to the Australian festival circuit, The Correspondents have previously graced stages at Womad in 2013, along with Falls Festival and Rainbow Serpent in 2015. Returning for festivals once again, the duo is excited about playing this one-off show in Melbourne and for the occasion they have invited local swing legends Mortisville + Jarrod Brereton (Live- Electro Swing Club Australia), Trickbox (Live Swing Loop set) and The Chief (Culture Jam) to join them.

Since their inception, The Correspondents have toured far, wide and relentlessly bringing their unique live show to huge crowds earning them the London Telegraph's 'Top Ten Glastonbury Highlights' two years in a row. With their live sets constantly evolving, Mr Bruce assumes the look of a monochrome matador, singing with force, scatting at speed and dancing like his life depends on it, while Chucks takes the audience on a journey through a multitude of genres from jazz and blues to the nether regions of electro and drum 'n' bass.

An evening with The Correspondents is a musical experimentation that should not be missed. Expect the unexpected from dance music, to jazz to electro, 60's beat to hip-hop, blues and drum n bass.
