Eggplant & Peach
The first pilot off the tarmac is Kat Jensen’s “€ & € ” (Eggplant and Peach) - a live chat show exploring the ins and outs of digital dating. It’s a show that reflects dating in the digital age and the awkward, hilarious and at times scary moments that come along with swiping right!

Other pilots revving their engines at the end of the runway include gameshows from Adelaide comedians and actors such as Big Al, Jason Chong, Lori Bell, Lucy Markiewicz and Dave Hirst, a darkly comedic improvised comedy from multi-award winning playwright Caleb Lewis and live readings of unproduced sitcom scripts. The pilots will be pitched to broadcast and online channels as well as forming a series for broadcast on Channel 44.

Kat Jensen

Kat Jensen is an Adelaide based Media Personality and host of € & € . For the past 12 years, Kat has worked in the Australian radio & television industries including ABC Adelaide, Mix 102.3, Triple M, Fresh927 and Channel 31. From going on a date with a suspected drug dealer, meeting a mother on a first date and having a date fall asleep on her, Kat has embraced digital dating to the extreme!

Jason Chong / 1UP Digital

Adelaide Comedian of the Year & Adelaide Comedy Hall of Famer Jason has performed worldwide. He has also worked for most of the TV and radio stations in this city and beyond. His production company 1UP Digital, has produced “The Raucous Caucus” and produced and presented “Fringewatch” for Channel 44.
