TEDxMelbourne Circle: Designing with Humanity

Published by: Soda Communications on behalf of TEDxMelbourne | 22-Jul-2020
A TED Circle is an interactive experience where we meet-up for conversations about ideas, in this present space, we're taking it digital.
Think of it as a book club for TED Talks where you're invited to discuss our current topic, learn new things and meet like-minded people.

Topic - "Designing with Humanity"
As a carry over from the very popular April Circle (Nationalism vs Globalism) we are going to explore the concept of value. Does a charity add value? What is the value of the environment? What other factors do we not measure that we feel is valuable to society?

Featured Guest - Professor Andrew MacLeod, BA/LLB, LLM, GAICD.

Professor Andrew MacLeod is the author of the book A Life Half Lived and is an expert in areas of corporate reform and profitability, stakeholder management, leadership, negotiations, global affairs, security and terrorism. He is one of the founders of HearTheirCries.org, a Swiss-based association aimed at eliminated child exploitation and abuse in the aid industry, advising several governments speaking to international media.
