This year’s concert features our special visiting guest artist, Erin Fflur, an acclaimed Welsh mezzo soprano whose recent engagements include Wexford Festival Opera, The Grange Festival and Welsh National Opera. In 2025, Erin was awarded the prestigious David Ellis Memorial Award (Blue Ribbon) at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.

The Choir invites you to enjoy the power and passion of the Welsh choral tradition, with favourites from our rich heritage alongside fresh contemporary arrangements. You’ll hear the familiar and the new in equal measure, complemented by evocative readings from the distinctly Welsh pen of Dylan Thomas.

Guests are warmly invited to arrive early and enjoy the foyer bar, open from 1.45 pm and again during the interval — a lovely opportunity to meet friends and share the spirit of the occasion.

Now in its 42nd year, our Choir is steeped in the Welsh chorale tradition well known for its power, emotion and the special essence and texture that comes from Welsh. Whilst Welsh is the foundation of our repertoire we sing a wide variety of music in many languages including English, South African, Italian, Latin, Maori, Aboriginal and German songs.
