After the release of their debut album Leisure Coast in 2013, the now seven-piece gave us new music in late 2015 with the stunning track Rivermouth'. It lead to incredible reviews from the likes of The Music and Channel V, high rotation spots on Double J and FBi, and in January of this year it was given the much coveted 'Song Of The Year' award at the FBi SMAC Awards.
Mixed by Tim Whitten (The Go-Betweens, Hoodoo Gurus), the new track 'Helluva Lot' further cements Shining Bird as one of the most exciting and unique Australian outfits around today.
Off the back of the single, Shining Bird are heading off on the Helluva Lot Tour. These four shows around the country will be the last chance to see the band before they head back into the studio to put the finishing touches on their forthcoming full length album.
