Bookings are now open for Term 4 Pottery Classes at Canberra Potters. WE have something to suit everyone from novices to practising artists; adults and kids.

We have a range of classes to suit all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

1. Introductory 1

Introduction to Clay: This 7-week course provides a general overview of techniques for complete beginners. It touches on a range of making skills and provides very basic information on glazing and raku firing.
Class choices: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights 6 "“ 9 pm
Saturday 9.30 "“ 12.30 and Saturday 2 "“ 5 pm

2. Introductory 2:

Designed to follow on from Introduction to Clay. This 7-week course goes into more depth and begins to bring in finishing techniques and decorative concepts. More focus on glazing and firing. $315
Class choices: Basic Wheel Thursday, 6 "“ 9 pm; Basic Handbuilding, Wednesdays 9.30 - 12.30; Sundays 1.30 - 4.30 pm

3. Continuing:

Build on what you've learned so far.
These classes offer a flexible structure to suit the needs of the group. Courses run for 9 weeks. Currently offering:
Class Choices: Continuing wheelwork Fridays 2 "“ 5 pm

4. General classes:

aimed at students who are ready to work more independently. Students are encouraged to explore their own interests. Additional charges for materials and firings Courses run for 9 weeks. Suits intermediate level student.
Class choices: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday nights 7 "“ 10 pm
Tuesday mornings 9.30 "“ 12.30pm; Saturdays & Sundays 2 "“ 5 pm
