There's nothing like a Radio Festival announcement to get your mouth watering and ears tingling, so gather up your lemonade-stand pennies folks because it's just about time for PBS 106.7FM's biggest membership drive of the year. This year's Radio Festival is set to be the most delectable experience on the PBS calendar, and the station is calling on all listeners to Feast Your Ears on a membership to help keep our beloved station delivering tasty treats direct to your airwaves for another year of bountiful harvests.

From Monday 14 May PBS is asking its wonderful listeners to put your money where your mouth is and wrap your tastebuds around the many benefits of being a PBS Member. By Feasting Your Ears on a new or renewed membership, you'll be helping the station to continue to sow, nurture, and grow some of the best musical produce Australia and abroad has to offer.

As always, PBS has a pretty irresistible spread of prizes to tantalize all who join up during Radio Festival, with every member automatically entering the draw to win one of our major prizes. This year's smorgasbord includes:

But that's not all, drop 120 clams or more for a Passionate or higher level membership, and you'll also get a limited edition 2018 Radio Festival T-shirt designed by local artist Ellen Porteus.

The station prides itself on an all-you-can-eat approach to its broadcasting with programs tailored to satisfy each and every taste of music. This year, PBS is stoked to announce a whole crop of milestone achievements from some of our dedicated broadcasters, who work tirelessly each and every week to bring the most organic produce direct to your dial, free delivery.

Emma Peel recently celebrated a massive 10 years presenting her show Switched On' and is a huge asset to the station. When asked what PBS means to her, Emma peeled back the many layers to the question to get to the strongest message at its core:

"Walking into PBS is like walking into the family home on a cold winter's night for a home-cooked meal. It isn't fancy - the vegetables are slightly overcooked and the wine is from a cask, but none of that matters because the company is 24-carat gold. At PBS, we may run on the smell of an oily rag, but the people that gravitate towards the station "“ staff, volunteers, listeners and members "“ are some of the most wonderful, generous and inspiring people I've ever met. To have been in their company for the past 10 years (and counting) is really quite an honour. And to be able to share little heard music with greater Melbourne every week is a joy indeed."

The 2018 PBS Feast Your Ears Radio Festival runs from Monday 14 May until Sunday 27 May. So whether you're a sweet tooth, spice fiend, savoury delight, or sour sort, be sure to devour a PBS membership during this year's Radio Festival and enjoy the endless banquet of the best quality emerging, independent, specialist and underrepresented music every minute of every day.
