Three young, boundary-pushing artists will premiere their works as part of the 3x3x2 Festival of New Works from 14th to 24th August at PACT Centre for Emerging Artists.

Writer and actor Emily Dash unveils Freefall, a candid and moving play that asks provocative questions about love and death, and explores the complexities of loving someone who sees the world differently to oneself.

Performance artist Christie Woodhouse asks important questions about how we need to prepare as citizens and as a society in BRING YOUR DEVICES IN CASE YOU FORGET. The work explores our fascination with prepping subcultures, skill sharing modulated by tech giants and community formation.

Yuwaalaraay artist Cheryn Frost presents Hydraulic Fucking, a queer political performance examining the destruction of our earth, the environmental impacts from fracking and the mining industry, and the parallels of land and sexual consent.

Dash, Woodhouse and Frost are part of PACT's 3x3x2 comprehensive two-year residency for early-career performance artists. The residency program offers artists space, mentorship, a salary and freedom to test an idea driven investigation.
