Sonja Venturi leads a global collaboration of artists in a transcendent new single that honors the sacred in every human being.
A powerful new musical and spiritual offering, “Om Sai Ram”, has been released across all major streaming and download platforms. Created by artist and spiritual musician Sonja Venturi, this project is more than a song—it is a mantra, a greeting, a tribute to the divine presence within every person.

Bringing together voices from across the world, including Bollywood star Kunal Ganjawalla, devotional singer Ajnish Rai, European pop talent SaraLa, jazz singer Reda Striskaite, and others, Om Sai Ram emerges as a modern hymn for our times. It carries a message of hope, compassion, and interconnectedness amid a world marked by conflict and disconnection.

A Spiritual Greeting Becomes a Global Song

“Om Sai Ram” is not just a musical composition—it is a vibrational salutation, drawing from ancient spiritual traditions that invite us to see one another as embodiments of the Divine. The mantra opens with a verse from the sacred Sikh scripture, Sri Guru Granth Sahib, grounding the piece in interfaith reverence and universal wisdom.

The accompanying music video, filmed in the pristine setting of Moena in the Dolomites—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—interweaves footage from each contributing artist around the world.

This unspoiled natural setting reflects the song’s deeper message: just as we must care for one another, we must also honor and protect the Earth that sustains us.

The Artist Behind the Vision

Sonja Venturi is a singer, songwriter, life coach, and musician known for her work in devotional music, mantras, and spiritual sound practices. Her artistic journey is deeply connected to her spiritual path, profoundly shaped by her relationship with Sri Sathya Sai Baba, a revered spiritual master and philanthropist.

In her autobiographical book “I Believe”, she recounts how a miraculous gift of voice, attributed to Sai Baba’s blessing, inspired her to dedicate her life and music to sharing messages of love and inner awakening.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings—“Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never”—are echoed throughout this project. As part of his spiritual tradition, devotees greet each other with the words “Om Sai Ram”, a mantra meant to sanctify the moment of meeting through remembrance of the divine.

“When you meet each other, do not shout hello or bye-bye, or some silly chatter. Let the moment of meeting be sanctified by the remembrance of God. Say, Ram Ram, or Om, or Hari Om, or Sai Ram.” — Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. 10, Ch. 14

“Om” represents the cosmic vibration of creation. “Sai” blends the universal aspects of divine motherhood and fatherhood. “Ram” connects to Rama, the embodiment of bliss and inner joy—a reminder that the Divine resides within and around us.

A Star-Filled Collaboration Across Continents

Featuring an ensemble of acclaimed global artists, Om Sai Ram stands as a celebration of unity through music:

Kunal Ganjawalla (India): Award-winning Bollywood vocalist known for his powerful and emotive voice.

Ajnish Rai (India): Master of devotional singing, bringing deep spiritual energy to his performances.

SaraLa (Austria): A rising star in European pop, known for her fresh and heartfelt style.

Velka-Sai (Eleonora Giudizi): A shamanic voice & sound healing therapist, channeling sacred energies through music.

Monica Merz: An eclectic singer with a warm, enveloping voice.

Sergio Vigagni: A refined guitarist and soulful performer.

Reda Striskaite (Lithuania): Jazz vocalist with a rich background in live and improvisational performance.

The track was arranged by award-winning producer Marco Diana, a two-time Grand Prix der Volksmusik winner, and mixed/mastered by Massimo Faggioni at FM Studio (Monza), one of Italy’s top sound engineers. The rhythm section includes Paolo Costa on bass and Lele Melotti on drums—both iconic figures in the Italian pop and studio music scene.

A Life Dedicated to Spiritual Music

Venturi has performed worldwide—India, the U.S., the U.K., Turkey, Lithuania, Austria, Ukraine, and beyond—offering Musical-Satsangs, a format that blends music with spiritually inspired storytelling. These events explore personal experiences with Sai Baba and share songs that bridge cultures and hearts.

She has sung multiple times at Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham, one of the most significant spiritual temples near Bangalore, and directed performances at the World Music Festival (2017, 2018), organizing orchestras and fostering artistic collaboration across borders.

“Om Sai Ram” is a joyful tribute to the Divine in all of us. A reminder that each greeting can be sacred, each voice part of a collective harmony. At a time when the world needs more bridges and fewer walls, this song offers a path of remembrance—of love, of unity, and of peace.
