Obi Art Prize Award (19+) - $3000 first prize - Sponsored by Maleny IGA | $500 3rd Prize sponsored by Recyclerama

Obi Youth Award (11-19yrs) - $1500 first prize - Sponsored by Maleny Apex

Obi Encouragement Award - $250 First Prize Sponsored by Spida Productions + $250 framing from Holdens Gallery | $150 Second Prize and $100 Third Prize - Sponsored by Andrew Powell MP for Glasshouse.

The Positive Expression of Current Social Issues through the medium of Art resonating change throughout the Art World and the wider community.

The Obi Art Prize celebrates Art and Artists focusing the spirit of expression on significant social themes.

We inspire to see positive change in our communities around the chosen them and Celebrating the Changes at the Obi Art Prize Celebrations and beyond.

Through what we call the Obi Art Project we have also created a number of community engagement projects which will be promoted throughout the lead up to the Winners Announcement Painted Tie Event. These include music and theatre projects around the theme of RESPECT.

We encourage all who love and celebrate Art to engage in the Obi Art Prize and its community engagement projects to join together in appreciation, acknowledgement, and greater understanding, and move the world we live in, a step forward towards greater social change.
