Multi-Award winning Cassar-Daley will perform a rockin’ set of the hits that you know and love as well as tunes from his latest # 1 album 'Home.' In a premiere performance Warren H Williams and The Warumungu Songmen will showcase the music of their central desert lands with a contemporary edge. Another highlight is set to be the spectacular traditional dancers who will join this celebration of culture and music.

In a unique NIMAs only collaboration, triple j feature stars The Medics will be joined onstage by special guest and 2011 Hall of Fame inductee, the legendary Bunna Lawrie from Coloured Stone.

Welcomed back to the stage are two of the NT's best Indigenous bands; Sunrize Band and Lajamanu Teenage Band. Described by Rolling Stone as "a swinging Arnhem Land blend of Hendrix, Neil Young and didgeridoo,” Sunrize Band have been rocking territory stages for over 20 years. Meanwhile the ever-popular Lajamanu Teenage Band continue to spread an important message through their powerful music.

Already announced on the bill are 2012 WAMI Winners for Best Indigenous Act, Yabu Band and rising stars East Journey from N.E. Arnhem Land.

An unsigned Indigenous act from anywhere in Australia have the opportunity to join this eclectic line up by uploading their tracks to triple j Unearthed. One lucky act will be flown from anywhere in Australia to Darwin, attend the iNTune conference and perform onstage at the NIMAs.
