Fresh from touring the country on the Falls Festival circuit, and having previously played Splendour in the Grass, Groovin The Moo, Beyond The Valley, Yours and Owls and more, Montaigne, aka Jessica Cerro, is no stranger to the stage. Her latest single, and official Eurovision song, Don't Break Me' weaves her intricate lyrics with her hallmark, soaring vocals. Just like her sophomore album COMPLEX, Don't Break Me' is equally as vulnerable and self-aware, exploring the depths of a breakdown of a toxic relationship, both personal and political.

Montaigne will bring her larger than life performance to Live At the Alex as part of Monash University's SummerFest program. Following its major refurbishment in late 2018 and success of last year's sold-out shows featuring San Cisco and Middle Kids, the affectionately called The Alex, Alexander Theatre at Monash University, has established itself as one Melbourne's premier live music venues and the home for extraordinary live experiences in the South-East of Melbourne.
