MEN ALOUD! Project choir - starting Sunday 27 October in Melbourne

Calling All Dads, Brothers, Uncles, Grandfathers, Cousins and Mates! Award winning singer and conductor of the ABC TV smash hit, Choir of Hard Knocks, Dr Jonathon Welch AM invites you to join a very special choir for men and boys of all ages. MEN ALOUD! will rehearse weekly in Fitzroy, leading up to performances at two Play It Forward events, our HELP IS ON ITS WAY concert featuring the Choir of Hard Knocks, singing out against Family Violence on Sunday 24th November at the magnificent Bunjil Place Theatre, and our SWING INTO CHRISTMAS concert on Saturday 7th December at Deakin Edge Theatre in Federation Square. @MENALOUDMA @playitforwardoz

This national initiative fosters a dialogue around mental health as we sing in support of our men and boys! A program of 'Play It Forward' presenting inclusive arts programs for all Australians, MEN ALOUD! was founded by Dr Welch to help create a positive, safe space where men and boys could come and explore their singing voices, help build positive mental and physical well being and develop supportive friendships through music.

Sunday 24 November, 3pm - Performance #1 at Bunjil Place Theatre
Saturday 7 December, 2.30pm - Performance #2 at Deakin Edge Theatre

There will be a registration fee of $80 adults / $60 conc / students to cover costs. If you do not already have a MEN ALOUD T shirt, there will be an additional cost of $20 to order one.
