Melbourne electronic duo Wise Child release their second single 'Figurehead'. The single is the follow up to their debut 'Tomoko' released last year.

Wise Child is the collaboration of siblings, Jem and Tom King. The duo fuses their love of grunge and electronica. Deep droning bass underlines their sound while schizophrenic guitar and melancholy vocals echo through their soundscape.

'Figurehead' was recorded with the assistance of James Cecil (Architecture in Helsinki) and mastered by Simon Lam (Klo/I'lls).

"Figurehead is about thinking of big ideas. Dreaming about your pasts and futures at the same time. Retrospective and introspective. When ever I am down, I can listen to this turned up to 11 and it gets me out of bed every time" explains Tom.

'Figurehead' will be launched on March 25 at Bar Open with very special guests Solar Tapes, James Seedy and RKDA DJs.
