For the 35th year, the Australian Philharmonic Orchestra will proudly present the annual New Year's Eve Concert Series at Melbourne Arts Centre's Hamer Hall.

The celebrated 65-piece orchestra, affectionately known as Aussie Pops, will perform their unique blend of popular classical and contemporary music in this highly-anticipated event heralding in 2017.

Joining the Orchestra on stage will be two of Australia's vocal leading ladies, Marina Prior and Silvie Paladino. Appearing in concert together for the first time ever, the two beloved voices will reunite after first appearing in the same production of Les Miserables over 25 years ago.

An inductee into Australia's 100 Entertainers Of The Century, Marina Prior is renowned for thrilling audiences with her vocal power, whilst Silvie Paladino has similarly established herself as one of Australia's leading theatrical performers. Led by Australia's celebrated conductor John Foreman and Master of Ceremonies Denis Walter, Prior and Paladino will join forces to perform some of the most popular classical, stage and screen music of past and present in two brilliant concerts that are not to be missed.
