Following the far-reaching success of her independent 2012 studio release Warm in The Darkness, Liz Stringer is back with stunning new full-length album All The Bridges due for release July 1st. @LizStringerAU #lizstringermusic
With acclaimed producer and engineer Adam Selzer (The Decemberists, Jolie Holland, Fleet Foxes, M Ward) at the helm, All The Bridges, Stringer's 5th studio album, was recorded over 8 days in July 2015 at Selzer's studio, Type Foundry, in Portland, Oregon, USA and features prominent Portland mainstays Luke Ydstie (bass) and Ben Nugent (drums) on rhythm section duties. The result is a vibrant and assured album, playing tribute to the new West Coast sound with the addition of an almost 80's inspired urgency. Folk and rock and roll, layered with bold electric guitars and rich background vocals, All The Bridges is everything fans have come to rely on from a Liz Stringer album, and more.

'Anyone', the album's lead single, with it's driving beat and delay-loaded lead guitar, manages to echo homages to classic 80's rock and roll (Divinyls, The Pretenders) while remaining timeless, with Liz's distinctive smokey vocal at the centre. A cohesive collection of songs, second single from the album, 'Protecting Myself' speaks to the hypocrisy of those with power who are prepared to destroy anything that stands in the way of their personal gain while defending their greed.

In the decade since her first album release Soon in 2006, Stringer has enjoyed a unique position in the Australian music scene. 2012's Warm In The Darkness was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize and earned Liz two Age EG nominations for Best Female and Best Album, and her reputation for captivating live shows and transcendent musicianship has garnered the esteem of peers and collaborators including Mia Dyson, Jen Cloher and Mick Thomas.

Having earned one of the country's most devoted followings through a long-standing commitment to regional touring, interest in this distinctive artist is now growing internationally, with extensive tours in Canada and Germany in 2015 as well as showcases at international music conferences in Kansas City and Nashville. With several of Australia's prestigious festival appearances on her list, including Blues Fest, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Apollo Bay Music Festival, Mossvale Music Festival and the Australasian World Music Expo, Liz will head off on tour in the later part of 2016 in support of new album All The Bridges.
