DEADLINE EXTENDED to 30th MAY - The Life in Pictures filmmaking competition invites you to enter a short film (max 2 mins long) which challenges the perception of ageing. 
The Life in Pictures filmmaking competition is a creative collaboration between the Department of Communities, Revelation Perth International Film Festival, and Screenwest, now in it's second year, this unique initiative was designed to encourage positive discussions about ageing in the community.

Multiple entries are welcomed and so are all types and genres "“ for example documentary, fiction, animation, experimental, mixed media and so on.

Five films from each category will be shortlisted and will premiere on the big screen at Luna Leederville during the 2018 Revelation Perth International Film Festival in July, with winners announced during the event.

There are three entry categories each with a tailored prize pool:

17 and under (prizes up to $5,533 in value)
18-59 ($2,000 cash + prizes of over $7,000 in value)
60+ ($2,000 cash + prizes of over $7,000 in value)
A special $1,000 voucher prize will also be awarded in each section as an Ambassador's Choice.

All winning films will be screened via Revelation's RevOnDemand platform post festival.
