This exhibition showcases imaginary machines made in the Steampunk genre depicting major industries post industrialisation fossil fuel (petroleum) era that have contributed mostly to global warming (climate change). The artist has used asphalt 'bio-bitumen' made from renewable resources, as opposed to conventional asphalt bitumen that is derived from fossil fuel (petroleum) as an art material in these drawing to emphasise and bring focus to the urgent need for the world to transition into renewable and environmentally friendly low carbon technologies.
