Introducing FLOW Festival 2019, a unique one-day festival celebrating the communal exchange of aural and kinetic energy featuring Digable Planets (US), Sho Madjozi (South Africa), KAIIT + more! + Digable Planets side shows! Life FLOWs. The elements that surround us, the energy that is within. Flow gives, flow takes and flow gives again. Give -->Take --> Give-->.
Introducing FLOW Festival - a single day sonic exchange coming to Melbourne's west this summer that will initiate, celebrate and actively participate in this cosmic push-and-pull. Taking place Saturday 14 December, the inaugural FLOW Festival 2019 will debut amongst the stunning surrounds of the Footscray Community Arts Centre located on the traditional lands of the Kulin Nation.

Presented by Foreign Brothers, the Festival's first incarnation will no doubt be a soundtrack to remember. Like everything the beloved beat, soul and groove masters curate, FLOW Festival is proud to present a dynamic balance of artistic contributions from the classic, future classic and emerging sounds of the underground.

Few musical groups embody this essence as naturally and completely as the recently reunited Digable Planets (USA) who are heading to Australia on with a full rhythm section to headline FLOW 2019. Joining the trio for a long-awaited trip from across the great blue will be celebrated South African gqom artist Sho Madjozi off the back of her massive Missy Elliot endorsed belter 'John Cena'.

As well as delivering some of the best sounds of afar to the forefront of Australian audiences, the ever-expanding Foreign Brothers musical family continues to provide the essentials of Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop from our own backyard. From the luscious rhymes of Melbourne soul queen KAIIT to the cool, calm and collected grooves of Baro & the Baz Richie Sextet and everyone's favourite full-time flexer FlexMami the first FLOW Festival bill is beaming with the best local acts of today. Alongside the Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, Tiana Khasi, SO.Crates, Tribqu, P O O K I E, Zjoso and emceed by the ever charismatic Cazeaux O.S.L.O (Man Made Mountain), it is one hell of a chock-a-block lineup.

And just when you thought the flow couldn't get any more fly, the kings of the rink are throwing a massive FLOW Festival Roller Jam! Join DJs Pietro, Prequel, Mz Rizk and Chris NG for a spin around the custom built track as they drop the needle on the future sounds of yesterday. Bring your own skates, or hire on the day.

With tunes buzzing, drinks flowing and skates rolling, FLOW Festival 2019 is sure to kick off your summer in epic, cyclic style. What goes around, comes around and with tickets from just $15 for littlies and early birds from $60 for biggies, you can rest assured that when you put in, FLOW Festival will well and truly put out. So get on down to the Footscray Community Arts Centre this December and be part of this unique vibration exchange.

FLOW Festival. Feel the vibration, trust the flow within.
