The call is out for all singers, novice, experienced "¦ or somewhere in between, to come to the free workshop on Sunday morning, starting at 10am. Led by the inspirational and engaging Dr Jonathon Welch, this is sure to be a wonderful workshop packed with ideas, fun and lots of singing! We will be rounding out the day with our Happy Together fundraising concert for Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House, from 2.30 to 4pm at the Queenscliff Town Hall.

Jonathon elaborates, "It's wonderful to be able to support the Queenscliff community and share our joy in making music. One of the reasons I created THECHO!R was to give back to communities and raise funds for worthy causes and I'm thrilled we can now support Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House, 'the heart of the community'. Please come along so we pack the place out"!!!

THECHO!R one of Melbourne's most exciting non auditioned choirs, incorporates innovative choral arrangements covering an eclectic range of musical styles from popular and classical music to world music and musical theatre, fused together with fun movement and 'choralography'.

Jonathon adds "THECHO!R has been celebrating our 10th Anniversary right across this year. We have raised thousands of dollars and supported many communities and charities, from Yarra to Yarrawonga, the CWA to the Choir of Hard Knocks, St Vincent's Hospital, African Children's Choir and the Dhungala Children's Choir. I am so very proud of what we have achieved together! We're really happy to come back to Queenscliff, we had such a lovely time when we first visited in 2014, and we are looking forward to reconnecting, everyone has been so welcoming."

If you wish to join the free workshop on Sunday 18th August please register at www.thechoir.com.au. Tickets for Happy Together can be purchased at the door from 2pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 concession and under 18.
