Hannah Cameron unveils evocative new single What's It For' and reveals album release details
Disarming songstress Hannah Cameron has been writing songs that softly creep under your skin and tickle your mind since first breaking onto the scene in 2015. With a debut album and an EP now under her belt, the assured and insightful young alt-folk artist is going full goosebumps on us with her latest single What's It For' out Friday 6 April.

Lifted from her forthcoming sophomore album I Lay Where You Lie, What's It For' tackles the growing inevitability of publicising our every move, and the diminishing notion of personal privacy amidst the digital age. Calling in longtime band members and collaborators James Gilligan on bass, guitars and co-production, Leigh Fisher on drums and Kieran Hensey on sax, What's It For' is yet another impressive taste of what's to be expected when the album lands this June.
Hannah's delicate vocals and soft fingerpicking have been placed over a brooding tenor sax laid down like a tablecloth that could be ripped from beneath a china setting at any moment. In her short time releasing and performing music as a solo artist, Hannah Cameron has opened for the likes of Broads, LULUC, Leah Senior and Coda Chroma, as well as sharing stages with local outfits The Hunter Express, Officer Parrot, Jacob Diamond, The Royal Parks, Colour Bomb, Love Migrate and more.
