Guitar-toting storyteller Thomas Keating reveals new track I'll Break Your Heart' + announces a run of full band launch shows

With a sound cushioned between Ben Lee and Ben Wright Smith sits rising folk-rock muso Thomas Keating. A modern frequenter of alt-country and Australiana rock, Keating conjures up tales of home life, self-discovery and human experience with endearing honesty.
His solo debut Begin Again' earned the young talent a place as a finalist in the inaugural Americana Music Prize of Australia earlier this year, building strong foundations for a bright and promising future. Thomas Keating is excited to now share his second single I'll Break Your Heart' and announce a handful of intimate live shows with his full band across Melbourne, Sydney and beyond.

Sharing his inner thoughts with charming honesty, Keating's latest confessional I'll Break Your Heart' is a genuine narrative of love lost and found. Produced by Gordon Burke at Everland Studios Sydney, the single was mastered by Nick Franklin (Polish Club, Buried Feather) and engineered by Dorny Mayes at Linear Studios. With catchy pop phrasing, driving bass hooks, and a peppering of twinkling keys I'll Break Your Heart' is glimmering indie pop that demands sing-alongs long after the final strum.

Throughout his career as a musician having played in previous bands Thieves and Good Counsel, Thomas Keating has toured with Oh Mercy and landed some impressive support slots opening for Jen Choler, Big Scary, Immigrant Union and Kevin Divine among others, and will embark upon his own solo tour of The States later this year. Recently relocating from Sydney to Melbourne, Thomas is excited to fully immerse himself within the local scene and continue to build his growing fan base. Be sure to catch this artist on the rise as he launches I'll Break Your Heart' at a bunch of local live shows over the coming months.
