Goldfields Printmakers: Elemental at La Trobe University VAC, Bendigo 24 Feb - 10 Apr 2016
The four natural elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water are the basis for this exhibition by fourteen Goldfields Printmakers who live or work in Central Victoria. This unique dry landscape, shaped by mountains, hills and flat plains provides rich material for artists to observe changes in animal and plant behaviour and weather patterns. In this exhibition, the artists have translated this landscape and the forces of nature into visual imagery in a collection called 'Elemental'
