Then, Donald Trump took office and everything changed. Melissa's husband was in Africa for work when the immigration system crashed and she couldn't get him back into the USA. Joined on stage by drag creature and accompanist Peppy Smears, Melissa David (The Greatest Showman) takes audiences on her bizarre journey across the USA and then the world via hippy parents, exploding cars and bonfires full of wedding gifts. Featuring a stunning songbook of classics by Carole King, Whitney Houston, and Cher, this is a toe-tapping, wine-swilling tale of love, laughter and sacrifice.

This story will appeal to the romantic in all of us, as well as those who know what it's like to experience the highs and lows of doing whatever it takes to be with the one you love. It is an evening that chronicles the politics, auditions, bad dates, travels and escapades that led to Melissa ending up in Melbourne with her very own prince charming.

FROM: NEW YORK, FOR: HIM runs 60 minutes with no interval and opens on the runs 13th-18th August. Bookings highly recommended. Tickets on sale now at thebutterflyclub.com.
