Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to join these free workshops on FRIDAY 9th JUNE, with the brilliant Richard Gill AO, as part of Australia's most exciting singers festival! Held at Deakin Edge Theatre, workshops are from 10.30 - 11.30am for Primary Schools; 12.30 - 2.00pm for Secondary Schools / Tertiary and from 2.30 - 4.00pm for Conductors & Music Teachers. Please note that registration is essential. One of Australia's pre-eminent and most admired conductors, Richard Gill AO is the founding Music Director and Conductor Emeritus of Victoria Opera. Richard specialises in opera, musical theatre and vocal & choral training and is internationally respected as a music educator. His work in developing young musicians and creating opportunities for them is recognised worldwide. #MISF17 @SOHKnocks

Richard will lead our massed choir rehearsals, workshops & concerts over the festival weekend. It's still possible to register for the festival. Choirs, individual singers, conductors, composers, and anyone who loves to sing, are all welcome to join this fantastic weekend of events held in Melbourne over the Queen's Birthday weekend.
