With 80 artists, 21 events and 33 performances the Four Winds 2016 Easter Festival will bring six days of exquisite music to this beautiful part of the world. There is something for everyone and the festival experience is set to be a memorable one for music enthusiasts of all ages.

Performances at the Four Winds Festival are held in an exceptional outdoor amphitheater space called the Sound Shell. Easter Saturday and Sunday in particular will constitute a divine weekend of incredible artists, exceptional music and fine local food. The Four Winds Artistic Director, Paul Dean, has secured a stellar international line up including the Europe-based Navarra String Quartet; dynamic young British violinist Jack Liebeck; award-winning cellist Li-Wei Qin; Australian composer James Ledger; London-based Australian pianist Zubin Kanga; young, prize-winning pianist Alex Raineri; the Arcadia Wind Quintet, Four Winds 2015 artists-in-residence; the exciting string ensemble Penny Quartet, the dramatic Australian taiko troupe,Taikoz; the Sculthorpe Wind Quintet; singer-songwriter Radical Son; local Indigenous musician Warren Foster; the Gulaga Dancers; innovative and cross-cultural music exponents Ensemble Offspring; fLiNG Physical Theatre; and acclaimed young operatic tenor, Andrew Goodwin.
For the first time, the FREE opening night concert will also be presented in the stunning setting of the Sound Shell and this performance will feature a collaboration between FLiNg Physical Theatre and Ensemble Offspring.
For those who appreciate a more intimate experience, three performances in the lead-up to the Festival will be presented in stunning local homes. These are complemented by three additional chamber music concerts that will inaugurate the new Windsong Chamber Music Series. These performances will be a great opportunity to experience the stunning acoustics of the Windsong Pavilion at the Four Winds site.
There is an active program in Bermagui itself, in particular the new After Dark shows that will be held in the Bermagui Community Centre, centered around two evening performances by Radical Son. The Community Centre will also host the Double Bar, which will be a great gathering place for all Festival-goers late into the evening.
A healthy collection of local food vendors will be on hand at the Four Winds site throughout the Festival to ensure everyone can sample some of the best local produce including a 'Brunch Buggy' muesli breakfast stand, Wapengo Oysters, Honorbread baguettes, Japanese dumplings and delicacies, Cobargo Home-Made Ice Cream, Ragino Coffee, local wines from Rusty Fig and more.
